Experiences
Drawing on art, philosophy, dialogue, movement, and contemplative practice, I create interdisciplinary experiences that invite people to move beyond ideas into shared experience.
The experiences below are a small selection of immersive, interdisciplinary gatherings created over the years for festivals, conferences, retreats, and communities around the world - each one inviting people into a deeper encounter with themselves, each other, and the world.
What it means to be human
House of Beautiful Business, Athens
Created for the 10th anniversary of the House of Beautiful Business in Athens, What Makes Us Human was an immersive performance weaving together philosophy, spoken word, live music, and dance.
Developed in collaboration with Kenneth Mikkelsen, the philosophical play invited participants to reflect on the forces that transform the physical world we inhabit, the social world we share with others, and the inner world we carry within ourselves.
The experience culminated in a collective dance to Björk's All Is Full of Love. What began as a performance became a shared ritual, inviting participants into a space of presence, connection, and possibility.
Creative Studio
An ongoing practice
From art studios in London, to community spaces in Berlin and Belgrade, the fjords of Norway, and the fields of France and Portugal, Creative Studio has unfolded in a wide range of settings across Europe.
It is a practice of staying close to what is alive — sensing, allowing, experimenting without knowing where it will lead.
In small groups, participants work with questions, creative challenges, and moments of curiosity that don’t open through thinking alone. Individual inquiries are met, reflected, and nourished by collective presence — often revealing perspectives we wouldn’t reach on our own.
Come As You Are
House of Beautiful Business, Tangier
Come As You Are was a journey through music, movement, meditation, and art to arrive at a place where we can see and be seen as we are.
Developed as an exploration of the relationship between ourselves and others, the experience invited participants to let go of preconceived ideas, put their masks down, and allow others to see them in all their beauty, brokenness, and vulnerability.
Accompanied by live music by Mark Aanderud, participants explored mirrors, face-painting crayons, movement, and encounters with one another, trusting the group to help them reconnect with the beauty hidden inside.
Re:connect
Women’s retreat in Provence
Bringing together women of different ages, cultures, and experiences, this retreat in the heart of Provence created a space to heal, reconnect, learn, and simply be.
We came together with no need to impress or be anyone but ourselves, in all our imperfections, vulnerability, and humanity. Through group inquiry, art, role play, sound, breath, yoga, and dance, we reconnected with our feminine energy, intuition, creativity, and the wisdom our bodies already hold.
Together we connected to our senses through food, explored our emotions through movement and music, and wandered through cherry orchards, olive groves, and vineyards, allowing ourselves to relax into a slower rhythm and a more natural flow.
Most importantly, the retreat offered an experience of being nurtured, held, and uplifted by a circle of women — sharing our stories, witnessing one another, and remembering that we do not have to carry everything alone.
Paint Your Dream
House of Beautiful Business, Sintra
“A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.” — John Lennon
Paint Your Dream, set in the beautiful gardens of Quinta da Bella Vista in Sintra, was an invitation to creatively explore: What happens when we connect to our senses and allow our intuition to guide us? Where in our bodies do we hold on to our memories and dreams? How can we use movement, music, and painting to co-create a collective dream?
Accompanied by live music from Ricardo Passos, participants explored these questions through movement, meditation, music, and painting, creating a collective artwork that remained on display throughout the festival.
The Art of Belonging
The House of Beautiful Business and The Museum of Belonging, Belgrade
“Gazing at the rain, I consider what it means to belong, to become part of something. To have someone cry for me.” — Haruki Murakami
Created in collaboration between House of Beautiful Business and Museum of Belonging, this gathering explored what it means to belong in a place that has survived war, disruption, political turmoil, and learned to adapt.
Joined by local and international voices from philosophy, futurism, entrepreneurship, music, and the arts, participants reflected on different experiences of home, identity, and belonging.
Many of these experiences were created in response to a particular place, community, question, or gathering.
If you are interested in creating something together, I'd love to hear from you.
