Door
The Door in Uruguay opened into another door in Provence, continuing the exploration of freedom, identity, and belonging.
The residency also marked the beginning of a new series of revillage gatherings, bringing together interdisciplinary groups of artists for immersive experiences rooted in creativity, inquiry, and connection.
Over two months in Provence, the work expanded beyond The Door. Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and open landscapes, I began experimenting with natural materials found on the property and exploring new forms, surfaces, and techniques.
The works that emerged ranged from hand-painted tiles and painted sculptures to pieces on wood and large-scale canvases — each one exploring the relationship between inner and outer landscapes.
